All participants are expected to contribute to the intellectual
content of the meetings. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute fully
supports the Janelia Conferences—there are no registration,
accommodation, or dining fees for participants. The conference
organizers invite all participants, selecting some from an open pool
   of applicants.
