8th International Conference on Bone Morphogenetic Proteins September
   15-18, 2010 Leuven, Belgium

As a tradition, the “ BMP community organizes an international
conference every two years. We are happy to announce that the next
“8th International Conference on Bone Morphogenetic Proteins will
take place in Leuven, Belgium, from September 15-18, 2010. Previous
meetings took place in the US , Japan or Croatia. More information and
the history on past meetings is available via
   http://www.bmpconference.org .

This international conference aims to bring investigators together to
discuss the latest developments in basic, translational and clinical
research in the BMP field. BMP technology reaches now far beyond the
field of bone and skeletal applications. The participants will discuss
on the role of BMPs in all body systems and propose new therapeutic
models for the future for the treatment of congenital and chronic
diseases such as Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, osteoporosis,
chronic arthritis, acute and chronic renal failure, and diabetes. The
meeting will present an outstanding program with ± 30 invited speakers
from all over the world and we expect a strongly interactive audience
of ±250 participants. There is ample space in the program for the
presentation of posters and oral presentations selected from submitted
abstracts. A first announcement of this upcoming conference and more
information is already available on the website via
   http://www.bmpconference2010.org/ .
