    *  Summarize the molecular genetics and epigenetics of inherited colorectal cancer syndromes and the impact of those genetics and epigenetics on the treatment of these conditions;
    * Describe emerging research in the etiology and prevention of colorectal cancer and review some of the chemoprevention treatment options for inherited colorectal cancer syndromes;
    * Summarize the newest research in the behavioral, basic science, and clinical aspects of hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes;
    * Identify and resolve difficult case management issues in the treatment of hereditary colorectal cancer;
    * Discuss the role of genetic counselors, primary care physicians, and public health initiatives to improve identification and treatment of patients and their families with hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes;
    * Summarize the endoscopic identification and medical, endoscopic, and surgical management of individuals with familial polyposis and other inherited colorectal cancer syndromes;
    * Describe the ethical implications of testing for hereditary colorectal cancers, including in the prenatal and pediatric realms, and summarize some of the current available methods for this testing.
