This course is designed to highlight state-of-the-art therapies for cardiac valve repair and replacement and delivery techniques for adult and pediatric patients. 

This conference is ideal for cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, primary care physicians, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners and other health professionals interested in increasing their knowledge of cardiac devices and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

    Recognize the full scope of options and innovations in the treatment of heart failure.
    Describe patient selection criteria for valve repair.
    Discuss novel treatments in development stages for cardiac valve repair and replacement.
    Describe the team approach utilized in hybrid operating rooms.
