This activity is presented by Physicians’ Education Resource in
conjunction with The University of Kansas Medical Center .
Overview and Purpose
This symposium is designed to update medical oncologists/hematologists
and other health care professionals on potentially practice-changing
data on the treatment of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma presented at
recent international hematology/oncology meetings. Participants will
have the opportunity to learn about these advances through
presentations by national and regional experts, interactive case
discussions, and question-and-answer opportunities, with the overall
goal of integrating these advances into clinical practice as well as
enhancing awareness of novel agents in development. Furthermore, the
most important data will be presented in the form of a poster session,
for which ample time will be allocated for viewing. These features
will reinforce the key data and allow participants to see and hear the
information in multiple formats. This program will thus provide an
invaluable and timely opportunity for practicing
oncologists/hematologists to increase their knowledge base and improve
their performance in managing their patients. These meetings will also
foster networking opportunities for community practitioners.
New for 2011: Poster session featuring top abstracts from ASH 2010!
